A token is the unit the model counts text in. In English, one token is roughly three-quarters of a word.
Every run also sends our instructions to the model (about 852 characters). That is the Instructions column above, and it applies even to short text.
The per-rewrite figure includes it.
The model plans how to restructure each sentence before rewriting, and that planning counts toward usage.
Coins are settled against actual usage after each run, and anything held in excess is returned immediately.
Payment is handled securely on Stripe's checkout page.
Turn this off and nothing is kept once the rewrite returns. Anything already stored is deleted at the same time.
Use this key to let AI tools that accept a server URL and key, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code, use MUKU. With it, the AI can rewrite text, check your balance, and view your history. It can't sign in or delete your account. Connect to https://muku-inkshield.com/mcp. The Claude and ChatGPT apps don't use a key: add the server URL and MUKU's sign-in and approval screen opens.
This key is shown only once. Copy it into your AI's settings.
Apps such as Claude or ChatGPT that you've connected to MUKU and approved. Disconnect one and it can no longer use MUKU.
